The Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club extends a warm welcome to our members' guests. We hope that you enjoy our dining and recreational facilities, and that your visit with us is pleasurable.
The Hunt Club has plenty of free parking in two main parking lots, and is wheelchair accessible. For golfers, we suggest the South parking lot to your right as soon as you turn into Club property from Hunt Club Road. For curlers, the North parking lot, which is to the right past the Clubhouse, provides easy access to the curling entrance. There is also parking directly in front of the Clubhouse, on the road below the front entrance. For your convenience, a driveway just past the Golf Shop leads to the front entrance where passengers can be let off.
The Bag Drop is in the South parking lot by the Golf Shop. For special events, there may be a specially designated Bag Drop area, which will be well marked.
All golfing guests must report to the Golf Shop, where staff will be glad to help you with information, clothing and equipment, and provide a complimentary course yardage book.
Guest lockers are available to visiting golfers. Please contact the office at 613-736-1102 to make arrangements.
For the comfort of our members and guests, the use of cell phones is prohibited in any of the Clubhouse food service areas.
As with most private clubs, we have a dress code. To help you feel at home, we draw your attention to the following regulations that extend to members and guests alike.
Golfers
Men are required to wear a collared shirt, tucked into shorts or pants worn with a belt. Socks must be either knee high or ankle length. Women may wear a collared shirt with or without sleeves; however, a collarless shirt must have sleeves. Shirts and blouses with a finished bottom that is designed to be worn over pants/shorts may be left untucked. Short shorts, cargo pants, and promotional trademarks on clothing, hats and bags that are not golf-related or related to golf manufacturers’ insignia are prohibited. Only soft spikes are allowed on the golf course.
In the Hut and Lounges:
Our dress code prohibits jeans (including designer jeans) and any clothing made of denim. Hats and visors must be removed in the lounges.
Curlers
Street shoes are not allowed on the ice. Please avoid wearing any clothing that “sheds” so as to maintain a clean ice surface, and ensure that you clean your shoes before entering the ice surface.
Our dress code prohibits jeans (including designer jeans) and any clothing made of denim. Hats must be removed in the lounges.
